We finally got our christmas lights up. It took us the whole day Sunday and several trips to Target to finally get it all done.

So in about a week...it will be one year ago since i got married. A year went by so quickly. It feels like it was just a couple of months ago that we were planning our wedding. So far it's been a good year for us. It still feels weird telling people i'm married and calling him my husband. I've gotten used to having a permanent ring on my finger but i still take it off at night. I can't seem to get used to wearing it all the time...but when i forget to wear it...my finger feels naked. Married life has been pretty good for us. I sometimes still have issues with our finances. I'm still in the mindset that my money is my money and his money is his money...so it's hard when I wanna buy something...I have to discuss with him if I can buy it. I can't splurge anymore like I used to. As for kids...it's not gonna happen anytime soon. I think it would be about 5-6 more years before we decide to have kids. I'm still enjoying my time without responsibilities and being free to go, do, and spend whenever and whatever I wanna do. I can't picture myself with kids. It's been almost a year and we still haven't gotten our wedding pictures developed. We are slowly getting it done...but it's soo many pictures to choose from we both can't decide on what pictures to print out in the album. So that's pretty much for our one year of being together. It's been fun...at times rocky...but for the most part...I couldn't have asked for anything more.

So i got my first speeding ticket yesterday on my way home from work. Totally sucked!!!!  I was goin 68 mph on a 55 mph area. My drive to work are all farm roads.It's only a 2 way road and there's hardly ever any cars on the road so yea i'll speed. How can you resist going only 55 mph when there are no other cars on the road but you . I knew one of these I was bound to get caught and I did yesterday. There you have it...$150 speeding ticket.

For you....

We tend to forget how much we take our back for granted. With every movement we make with our bodies...our back is somehow affected....whether we sit, lie down, or stand up.

As for me...yesterday my back gave out on me while doing some Billy Banks work out...(taebo) heheh. I was doing some exercises that included me bending down and when I did that too fast...all I felt was this sharp pain through my lower back and I couldn't get up anymore. I just collapsed to the floor crying in pain . So for the rest of the Saturday, I spent it trying to not to move my back. I could barely sit, let alone use the bathroom. I was able to sit on the toilet but I couldn't turn my body to get paper towel. Sitting down, standing up, and walking up the stairs took soo much effort. It would take me 10 minutes to climb up the stairs and another just to get down. Getting dressed was even worse. Jay had to help me put on my pants. I guess that's what husbands are for right .  I didn't know how I would sleep since I move a lot in my sleep...but I did fine through the night.

I woke up this morning feeling much better. Still in a little bit of pain but a lot better than yesterday. Just no sudden movements with my back for now.

we've been here in san antonio for 2 months now...and i've slowly started learning how to cook filipino dishes...with the help of daddy (my grandpa). so this is my list so far...

7.  stir fry (from scratch...but i have yet to experiment a lil bit more with this since i messed up a bit the first time i attempted to make it)

i think that's about it for now. i have yet to try cooking tinola and a bunch of other filipino dishes. i actually wanna learn how to make filipino desserts. if there are any suggestions to other good filipino dishes, please let me know. thanks!!

soo...to make the front of the house look a bit attractive...i started growing weed....hehehe j/k  i actually started growing different kinds of flowers for my lil garden in the front of the house. this is what they look like so far. i'm still waiting for the rest of pellets to bloom but so far the rest of the flowers are looking good. sadly...i don't remember what kind of flowers i planted. i'm gonna have to wait till they fully bloom.

so i had this whole update i made but stupid multiply gave me an error the minute i clicked on save...which totally sucked cause it didn't save my blog!!! ggrrrr!!!!!

so this is why i don't update as much as i would like to. anyways...i'm not gonna write down everything i had written the first time.

here's what's been goin on with us. my parents and daddy came here to surprise us but daddy and my dad left on monday to go back. i'm not sure when my dad will be back but i hope he does come back soon. i also got a hair cut. it's pretty short. i never thought i'd cut my hair this short again. here's a back, front and side view of it..

so other than...that's all we've really been up to here...which is mostly why i don't update this that often.

Found out about a week ago...a friend of mine had a miscarriage. she's been trying to have a baby since she got married and over christmas...they found out they were gonna have a baby. a week ago she texted me that she was in the hospital the night before and lost the baby. she asked me not to call cause she didn't wanna talk yet. i was thinking about calling her this week...but i don't know cause i'm not really sure what to say to her. we used to be best friends in high school...but after that...our lives got busy and we pretty much outgrew each other. but anyways...that's besides the point. i have never been in that kind of situation so i don't really know what i could say to her. i texted her and told her if she needed to talk or anything...to call me. i don't think i'll be the first person she'll call...but i'm glad she did message me about what happened.

soo after 3 whole days of trying to fix my site and trying to find a layout that i liked...i'm finally satisfied with the way my site looks. thanks to my sister whom i've been bugging for the last two days to help me with it. all of it was her work and her ideas. so what do you guys think?

so we took caesar for a walk today. we walked to the park and back and by the time we were walking back already we noticed that caesar was gettin tired. just when we were only 3 houses away...caesar decides to lay in a shade and not want to walk anymore. i don't know what's wrong witht that dog. munie had to carry him to the side yard cause no matter how much we tugged and pulled at his leash he would not get up. it was sooo funny...too bad i didn't have my camera with me. but here's some pictures of caesar for papa. he's big now. so anyways...after we got him in the backyard...he pretty much just knocked out. he didn't have a whole lot of energy anymore. at least now...he's slowly listening to us now. most of the time he usually sits the first time you tell him to sit.
